Privacy Policy

APIndex ("we," "us," or "our") operates a platform for verified athletic performance data. This policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our websites and services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. When you register or interact with the Services, we may collect your name, email address, and the role you select (for example, athlete, practitioner, or recruiter).
  • Athletic performance data. Performance metrics and related testing information are submitted by credentialed practitioners in connection with testing events. This data is associated with athlete profiles as described in the Services.
  • Usage data. We may collect information about how you use the Services, such as pages or screens viewed, actions taken, and similar technical or usage information, to operate and improve the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

  • Create, maintain, and display athlete profiles and related verified performance records;
  • Review and verify practitioner credentials and operate the practitioner network;
  • Improve the security, reliability, and features of the Services; and
  • Communicate with you about the Services, including policy updates as described below.

3. Data Sharing

  • Public athlete profiles. Athlete profiles and the verified performance data shown on them may be publicly visible by default, including to coaches, recruiters, and other visitors, so that the intended purpose of the Services—sharing trusted performance data—can be achieved.
  • No sale of personal data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
  • Practitioners. Practitioners may view and submit data for athletes they test through the platform, consistent with their role and our technical access controls.
  • Service providers. We use trusted infrastructure providers (including hosting and database services) who process information on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

4. Data Security

  • Data is stored using reputable cloud infrastructure (including Supabase) with encryption in transit and at rest as provided by those services.
  • We use technical measures such as row-level security and role-appropriate access rules to limit who can read or change data in the platform.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We strive to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we handle.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To submit a request regarding your account or personal data—including a request to delete your account and associated data—contact us at privacy@athleteperformanceindex.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

6. Children's Policy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The platform is intended for users 13 years of age and older.
